Queenies Story

Queenie is a cervical cancer survivor from Malaysia. She was surprised to be diagnosed with cervical cancer, one of the cancers caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Queenie shares her story from diagnosis to timely treatment and recovery. Family support helped her on this journey. Her message is clear, keep your appointments to go for cervical screening. Vaccination prevents HPV. Cervical screening for HPV and for cell changes that could develop into cancer, can reduce the risk of developing cervical cancer.
